Why am I ALWAYS tired?!?

For some reason it doesn't matter how much sleep I get I always feel like crashing during the day and find it hard to feel energized.

I'm female, 21, I have a good diet as I eat very healthy...I try to stay active as much as possible but I do spend a lot of time around the house.

A normal night consists of me getting anywhere from 8-10 hours of sleep in total. I normally have to wake up a few times during the night/early morning to care for my puppy.

So if I'm eating right, and getting enough sleep...why even after a few hours of waking up am I almost finding it impossible to keep my eyes open?!

I plan on going to the doctors but I wanted to ask here as well.

Answer on Why am I ALWAYS tired?!?

The first thing that came to my mind was: anemia. I see someone else has already posted that. Other things may be low thyroid function or a hormonal unbalance (unlikely, due to your age).

Don't be scared. No one ever died from being tired.
