Ive heard there is a foreign driver's liscence from the US to drive in europe or anywhere else....does anyone

know how it works? how long it lasts? are the exams equally simple?

im in italy and planning on getting a car for job issues but i dont know whether its going to be easier to get a drivers' liscence here in italy or use one from the states, ive heard there is one, im just curious to know, what is the easiest way...

i dont speak perfect perfect italian so its not like its goign to be easy taking the exam IF i was to get the liscence from here....

any ideas?

Answer on Ive heard there is a foreign driver's liscence from the US to drive in europe or anywhere else....does anyone.

There is an International license to drive required in Europe.

The exam is not simple.
Do you work at a military installation?
- the benefit is the exam costs less and it's in English.

My license lasts 6 years.
Good luck!
