Answer on Best country to live in for about a year?
I have just returned from five years in Cape Town, and it has to be up there as one of the very best places to live in the world, so I suggest adding South Africa to that list. Great weather, amazing scenery, good food, delicious wine, lots of wonderful things to to, whether lazing on the beach, climbing a mountain, surfing or meeting up with friends at bar bar overlooking the ocean. It is also a good base from which to explore the rest of southern africa and go on safari. The crime is an issue for some people, but it is over-reported and no one I knew had a bad experience.
